Our Burton Suite and Manor Library rooms are stunning spaces that have been carefully renovated to provide the most idyllic setting for hosting intimate dining events for up to twelve people.
The Manor Library is just one of the jewels in our crown. Located at the far side of the original Manor, the huge, leaded windows look out towards our sweeping driveway - what could be more impressive than greeting your guests as they step into such opulence? Designed to reflect our botanical heritage, the walls are themed around the old apple orchards which used to grow at Horwood, when Harry Thrower was the head gardener. No stately home is complete without a commanding fireplace and the Manor Library retains the original stone surround - quite the conversation piece.
While The Library epitomizes turn-of-the-century formal dining in the Manor, the Burton Suite offers a more laid-back vibe.
Beautifully appointed, with panelled walls and overlooking the quirky giant chess board, the Burton Suite is at the hub of our contemporary extension. Close to the bar it has a vibrant buzz and lively atmosphere, ideal for small parties.
From arriving at your private dining room, you and your guests will enjoy a sumptuous environment and mouthwatering menus, delivered by our courteous and professional teams. Book an Afternoon Tea from just £49 per guest, or from £70 for a three-course run or dinner, with a glass of fizz in the Burton Suite.
If you’d like to enjoy the beautiful setting of Horwood House but have a larger gathering in mind, then explore one of our banqueting rooms. The Eyre Suite is a large yet relaxing space that can accommodate up to 70 guests for dinner and 120 for a drinks reception. It’s light and airy with direct access to the terrace and lawn. Or the Cook Suite, our largest room, ideal for gala dinners, awards ceremonies or events with up to 250 guests.
